RF tether in Element. (lots of Pics)

So I think I remember a lot of people looking for a good spot to RF tether in a Honda Element and I think I found one. But I want to make sure it's a good spot so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for looking.

Excuse the mess I literally just lifted up the plastic housing.

yup, that looks okay. That seat leg is perfect and I think it's alright to thread it through that slit. Thanks for the pictures. I think the Honda Odyssey and Pilot are similar in that there's a good spot if people are just willing to pop off the plastic casing.

That looks great:thumbsup: It's the exact same piece that I tether to in my Civic, but mine is way more easily accessible than that. Great idea to put the plastic back on.

I was a little worried about the plastic going back on and interfering with it but it seems to work just fine.

Just wanted to thank you! I was able to tether DDs succesfully! I would have never thought to pop that plastic off.

One question... can you move your passenger seat all the way back when the seat is tethered there? I think im going to take pics of it tomorrow and make sure I did it okay.

What year is your Element because I can't get the D-ring around the leg unless it stops the seat from being able to slide back. I don't see how I can tether this seat in the 2006 Element I have.

Thank you SO much for the pictures! We just installed Britax Advocate 70 CS (RF) in our 2005 Element and it worked GREAT! Thank you again!!!!!
